Boy Scouts is open to any boy between 10 and 18 years old, or boys who have completed 5th Grade. Webelos Cub Scouts who have been awarded the Arrow of Light may bridge into the Troop anytime after January of their second year as a Webelos. Parent participation in the Troop is welcomed, needed and expected in order for the Scout to get the most out of Scouting.
Yearly Registration fees are currently $100 per year. There is an additional charge of about $65 for each new Scout when he joins to cover the cost of troop-specific Hat, Neckerchief, T-Shirt, Numbers and a few other items. Further, at least one parent per Scout is expected to be registered with the Troop. The cost of that registration is $25.
Monthly outing expenses are about $18 per month and the Troop strongly encourages Scouts to attend Scout camp over the summer. Current cost for that is about $375 for one week.
